Monthly Discussion Group - Open to the Public

This is a monthly discussion group open to anyone who is INTERESTED IN JAPANESE CULTURE AND  LOVES SASHIKO.  Our discussion will revolve around the topic presented by the facilitator of the meeting.

In our online meeting, we will share thoughts and deepen our understanding of Japan and its culture while individually working on our own sashiko projects.

There is no fee to attend this meeting but registration is required.

★The language used in this group is ENGLISH.

★This is a friendly discussion group and NOT a place to learn sashiko skills OR do show-and-tell of your projects.

Join us on Thursday, September 1 at 10:30 pm-12:30 am (EDT) / 7:30pm-9:30 pm (PDT) for “Sashiko & Japan - Stitch, Chat and Learn TOGETHER!” online group meeting to connect with fellow sashiko enthusiasts, share our thoughts on sashiko, and deepen our knowledge of Japan and Japanese culture while individually working on our own sashiko projects.

After a quick introduction by the facilitator, the topic of the meeting will be presented. We will then start stitching and exchanging our thoughts about the topic presented with the goal of learning from each other.

★ Please bring your sashiko project so we can stitch together while chatting.
★ This is a friendly discussion group for sashiko lovers.
★ This is NOT a place to learn sashiko OR to do show-and-tell of your projects.
★ There is no fee to attend this online event but registration is required.
